Director of Integrated Marketing & Vice President | Cross-Functional Leadership, Strategy
Sotheby'sDirector of Integrated Marketing & Vice President | Cross-Functional Leadership, Strategy
Feb. 2020 - Nov. 2020New York, United StatesAs Director of Integrated Marketing at Sotheby's, I led a team that bridged the salesforce and marketing division, strategically developing and deploying marketing capabilities across global operations in New York, London, and Hong Kong. I partnered with business leads to develop marketing strategies for various divisions, sales, and special projects across fine art, luxury goods, and automobiles. My role required managing a +$10 million marketing budget and leading 8 account managers executing brand, content, and digital marketing initiatives. I fostered cross-functional collaboration between digital, content, brand, experiential, and partnerships teams to deliver best-in-class campaigns for single objects and collection sales. Additionally, I identified and delivered new key demographic audiences to expanded online sales and buy-now initiatives, producing $285 million in sales and breaking multiple industry benchmarks. During the pandemic, I spearheaded a groundbreaking virtual auction production that connected the New York, London, and Hong Kong salesrooms through a millisecond-latency broadcast system. This required coordinating global operations, technology, production, and sales teams to create a hybrid format with synchronized physical auctioneers, digital bid monitoring, and live communication. The event generated $500M+ in sales and attracted 200,000+ viewers across web, social media, mobile apps, connected TV, and linear broadcast. The initiative established new industry standards for digital auctions while maintaining premium client experiences during unprecedented disruption. I used this role to enhance team efficiency through clear processes and improved communication, improving alignment on strategic goals, internal reporting, and project turnaround. Success required representing a complex organization both internally and externally, navigating internal politics, and rapidly learning new information across diverse product categories.

Sotheby'sDep. Director of Global Video Production & Assoc. Vice President | Content Marketing
May. 2019 - Feb. 2020Greater New York City AreaAs the Deputy Director of Global Video Production, I managed the complete lifecycle of video content across the Americas while supporting global strategy development. I honed both the creative & technical skills needed to excel in this multifaceted role, combining production management, creative direction, and financial oversight. I managed complex projects from concept development through distribution, while also overseeing a $2M budget and analyzing performance metrics to demonstrate ROI to executive stakeholders. I led a series-based content strategy that improved production efficiency, developed habitual audiences, and maximized SEO opportunities. This systematic approach allowed us to produce diverse content types including documentary interviews, CGI animations, and live-streamed events despite limited team resources. My team produced approximately 185 videos annually (half of Sotheby's global output), achieving a two-fold year-over-year viewership increase for both 2018-2019 and 2019-2020, on average 50M views annual views across platforms. The role allowed me to personally interview and produce content featuring cultural luminaries (Oprah Winfrey, Sally Field), renowned artists (Ai Weiwei, Jonas Wood), and business leaders (Reed Krakoff). This innovative work received industry recognition and advanced Sotheby's marketing objectives by showcasing the extraordinary objects entrusted to the auction house through compelling visual storytelling.
