Field safety management for a team of safety professionals, covering planning and execution of project contractor Health Safety, and Environmental (HSE) processes. . • Oversee administration of corporate/project/client HSE programs. • Advise project/construction management on HSE issues. • Conduct inspections, surveys, audits, investigations, for track/trending analysis. • Implement, evaluate and administer the HSE process to address opportunities for improvement and make recommendation for corrections; including creation and presentation of training programs for management, supervision, or employees. • Evaluate and administer company policies and procedures concerning HSE program implementation. • Deliver weekly safety meetings to improve employee awareness. • Provide guidance to project management through interpretation of the company/client/regulatory requirements. • Maintain professional relationship with the owner-client, safety representatives, the safety and health community in the area, and project management. • Conduct and document investigations of project accidents and incidents using Root Cause Analysis methodology. • Maintain records, reports and documents that are required to meet corporate, client or regulatory requirements. • Administer a project management/safety orientation for all employees working on project. • Identify and analyze safety concerns. Recommend controls and eliminations to those concerns. Audit the results of implemented controls and eliminations • Work closely with project supervision and management before and during execution of work. • Monitor subcontractor compliance. • Incident management and severity mitigation. • Write permits and review and approve JHAs Confined Space Entry, Elevated Work/Fall Mitigation, Grating & Handrail Removal, Excavation, Radiography, Isolation of Energy, High Pressure Testing, and Critical Lifts.
