Aug. 2021As Editor, I manage the prodcution of a number of contract publications for Explorer's key clients, and manage the design and editorial teams, including the contracting of freelance contributors, to see projects through to publication. Some publishing highlights include:
*A quarterly lifestyle for a destination island. * A series of 10 journals of illustrated non-fiction journals that explored current trends in in a range of subjects, from technology to climate change. I developed the content strategies, managed contributors, and ensured the seamless delivery of these high-profile publications. The first, Climate & Biodiversity, was presented at the 2023 COP Summit in Dubai. *An in-depth guidebook to diving in the Saudi Red Sea. It involved in-depth research into the marine environment, with support from the Saudi Diving Federation, and commissioning researchers, writers and illustrators to create compelling, accurate content to help beginner and advanced divers plan their dives. *An autobiography for a high-profile businessman.

- I taught English, History, Maths, and Science.
- I tutored students in general homework and assignment completion, as well as guided students to graduating high school by helping them to prepare for their final exams.
- A particular student’s marks were not good enough to grant him entrance into his final (matric) exams, and I worked with him to bring his marks up to the point that he was allowed to write.
- I also worked with a young child who suffered from ADHD and was performing poorly at school. Together with her parents we worked out a tutoring plan that helped her to overcome these struggles.
