I recently earned my degree in Sports Management from Eastern Illinois University, where I was also a Division I soccer player. Balancing academics and athletics while taking on leadership roles taught me to manage my time effectively, stay composed under pressure, and lead by example. As Chapter Leader for Uplifting Athletes, I organized events and led fundraising efforts that united our team around a meaningful cause. Through my internship with Eastern Illinois University’s Athletic Academic Services, I gained hands-on experience developing strategies to support student-athlete success and ensure NCAA compliance. I also gained experience with sales processes and CRM tools during my time as a Sales Coordinator at NCSA, where I supported recruiting efforts and worked closely with families to match them with the right athletic opportunities. I’ve been working as a waitress at Dukes Northwoods, where I manage a busy section, stay calm under pressure, and resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally. At the same time, I’ve taken on a coaching role with Strikers Fox Valley, leading practices and mentoring young athletes.
