Since relocating to Providence, Rhode Island in 2005, Roane has spent twenty years honing his skills and experience in business development, marketing/communications and event production for travel & tourism, hospitality and non-profit organizations throughout New England. He has held leadership roles and overseen projects for such well-known Providence establishments as: Gracie’s, the Dean Hotel, Local 121, and the Providence G (Rooftop at the G, Providence GPub and Sarto). Brendan also operated GHospitality’s locations in Plymouth, Massachusetts (Plymouth GPub, High Limb Cider) and on Martha’s Vineyard (Garde East Restaurant, and Vineyard Haven Marina). In addition, he is credited with involvement producing numerous events including food and wine festivals, inaugurations, fundraising galas, as well as community events including RI Pride Fest and PVDFest, and private client events. Most recently during his tenure as the Director of Marketing and Communications for G Hospitality (2016-2025), he oversaw all marketing activities including: brand development, media and community relations, project management, strategy and planning, programming, entertainment and special events. In 2025, Roane elected to launch his own company, BCR Creative Relations (September 2025 launch). Capitalizing on his twenty-year career Roane uses his expertise and skill set to offer client services including business development, marketing and communications support and event management and production. BCR’s core client market is focused on small businesses, community groups and non-profits throughout Southern New England. In addition to launching BCR Creative Relations, Roane serves on the board of directors for FirstWorks, a performing arts non-profit, and creative founder of PVDFest. He is an active member and participant in many local community organizations throughout Providence, Plymouth and Martha’s Vineyard and is frequently involved with tourism efforts and increasing volume for local community markets.
