Jun. 2002 - Apr. 2005Promoted in September, 2004 from Account Manager. Became responsible for handling my accounts, managing three account managers, two exhibitor services personnel and acting as senior management layer between those five individuals and our GM. In account manager role primary contact with the clients (associations & corporate clients). Responsible for overseeing client requirements, finding solutions to their challenges and managing each appropriate GES entity (i.e. Freight, Graphics, Design, Show Operations and Construction) for the clients events. Oversee all phases of the trade shows from planning to on-site and post-show wrap-up. 80% of my shows, between July, 2002 and February 2004 exceeded revenue plan by 5% - 18%. Clients included: McDonalds, IBM, Shell Oil, Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), Medical Spa Society, Fisher Scientific, American Dietetic Association, Houston Apartment Association & National Association of Basketball Coaches.
