The main role I played was liaising with colleges and students to ensure a large number of entrants and to get the word out. I worked closely with a large number of student on a daily basis acting as the main point of contact for any queries. Updating social media channels was a major role in this position in order to create a buzz around the event. Largely involved in booking celebrity presenters for the event and briefing them on the night. I manned the ticket sales and ensured that there was an increase in attendance on previous years. Played a major role in the organisation leading up to the event and on the night of the event. This event gave insight and in depth experience in organising and implementing a large scale event that is well known throughout Ireland.

This gave me a huge range of areas to get involved in and allowed me to draft press releases in many different areas including ladies, mens and kids fashions, home and lifestyle. Media monitoring both in print and online was carried out on a daily basis to ensure 100% feedback was given to clients.
