Nov. 2009 - Sep. 2012Oak Bluffs, MAAll-Purpose Tutor for High School students on Martha's Vineyard Employed seasonally by the Special Needs department at the M.V. Regional High School to work with at-risk or under-performing teens (primarily boys) off-site or on, depending on the situation. Duties include mentoring and teaching (courses in every subject necessary, including the three "R"s, PhysEd, electives, driver's ed, semester-long and senior projects, and test administration) I am proud of my success rate with youths that have not otherwise been able to negotiate the mainstream High School experience. Available for private tutoring sessions when not otherwise booked.
