Dec. 2014 - Jun. 2017Lansing, Michigan AreaI routinely provide a variety of managerial support activities including but not limited to: answering calls, composing correspondence, maintaining files, creating spreadsheets, word documents and templates as needed, maintaining Dr. Tabrizi’s calendar, making both in state and out of state travel arrangements, preparing statewide and federal reports and creating and maintaining sensitive files. I expertly assist my internal and external customers by providing exceptional interpersonal, organizational and analytical problem solving skills. I assist our IT Department with our Michigan Department of Education website in maintaining compliant documents that are in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance project and by explaining, interpreting and disseminating information regarding the Special Populations Unit’s federal and state programs such as: McKinney-Vento, Foster Care, Migrant, Title III, 31a, Neglected and Delinquent, Migrant and Early Literacy. I have successfully organized the 2016 Special Populations Conference, held at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing, Michigan and I am currently organizing several workshops and Professional Development activities for Michigan’s educator community.
