Sep. 2011 - Oct. 2014Resourcing Manager for Iron Ore responsible for a leading team of 50 recruiters in WA. HR Superintendent responsible for leading a high performing team of Senior HRBP’s/HRBP’s. Provided support, leadership, coaching and HR/ER advice to VP’s, HOD’s, Managers and Superintendents and employees across Iron Ore Projects, Logistics and Infrastructure (NPI - Non Processing Infrastructure, Asset Management, Business Improvement, IROC). Involved in many exciting projects in relation to the employee lifecycle including growth of new mines (Jimblebar), step-up culture organisational redesign & transformation in 2013/14. Worked with the Business Improvement team to introduce performance centres (lean thinking/process improvements) into the recruitment function to improve productivity and performance in particular time to fill. Extensive experience in large scale change management, workforce planning, redeployment and redundancy projects. Experienced leader of high performance team. Responsible for leading and coaching a team of 56 employees while covering the Resourcing Manager role. Responsible for the roll out of 1SAP Resourcing module to hiring managers in time for go-live. During acquisition of HWE responsible for the smooth integration of the HWE recruitment team into the culture of BHP Iron Ore which led to minimal impact to the productivity across operations.
