The implementation of such solutions should ideally yield some financial benefit to the business area and the organisation as a whole and at the same time takes the customer experience into account. Very often the implementation of an improvement idea in one area will have a knock on effect in another and as a Process Analyst it is important to understand the overall impact the project will have and be able to manage it in such a way that is beneficial for all. As a Process Analyst at Standard Bank I have been very involved in the Operations environment for the past 4 years. In this time I have worked on continuous improvements projects in a number of different Product areas as well as different process streams within the product value chain. Through this, I have been able to develop a broad understanding of the Operations environment from a Product and Business perspective. Continuous improvement is a critical part of any business and proper management of the change from a people, process and IT perspective is extremely important from a sustainability perspective.
