Raw ingredient testing, factory support and other business needs. Operates, maintains, and troubleshoot analytical instruments. Specific instrumentation includes but are not limited to auto titrator, viscometer, refractometer, densitometer, water activity, hardness, particle size, FTIR, HPLC, GC and LC. Carry out routine analysis and evaluate accurately while following documented methods to deliver true results in a timely manner. Information is compiled data entry through LabVantage/LIMS. Incorporate compliance and regulations through ISO17025, GMP, HAACP and all Health & Safety guidelines for the site and lab. Work as a team player including open and honest communication, respecting confidentiality with any laboratory information. Perform and serve as the Feedback Specialist, NIR Program, Team LIMS administrator and Metrologist for the Analytical Department. Performs technical writing for Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s), test methods, project reports and other laboratory quality protocols. Remain current that can be applied to lab/job by reviewing professional literature and/or attending training sessions. Support the GNV lab with GAIT, vendor discussions and technical forums. Participate in cross functional teams in order to solve complex problems and identify innovative solutions throughout the factory and lab. Participate in training technicians on GQ policies, analytical methods and equipment. Responsible for developing methods, maintenance, sterilization and perform analytical testing on GC and HPLC.
