Aug. 2023 - Jan. 2025Los Angeles, California, United StatesDuring my training as an Assistant Manager, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various Food & Beverage outlets within the hotel. I commenced my rotation at the poolside restaurant, where I assumed responsibility for day-to-day operations. This role allowed me to spearhead multiple initiatives, including the development of Cabana offerings, the formulation of a wine pairing list aimed at enhancing upselling opportunities, and the design of a targeted happy hour menu. Subsequently, I transitioned to the hotelโs flagship restaurant, collaborating with a team of approximately 50 staff members. This experience provided a thorough understanding of operational management, including inventory control, while placing a strong emphasis on guest relations to facilitate memorable dining experiences. Following that, I joined the In-Room Dining department, where I immersed myself in daily operations while also playing a pivotal role in drafting several Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as part of a systematic improvement project during this period. I concluded my training in the Banquet department, where I acquired extensive skills in coordinating and managing a diverse range of events. This included weddings, seminars, press junkets, and high-profile award ceremonies such as the AFI Awards, further enriching my operational and event management capabilities.
