This 503,000 SF building is the first Brutalist building on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). During demolition, certain columns throughout (including exterior columns) needed to be reinforced with a process involving Hilti rods anchored around the column within the structural slab that cannot be seen once installed. Because this process is so precise, CFPB is the the second building in the United States where this technique is employed. Utilizing subcontract scopes and IFC Contract Documents to execute efficient installation of subcontractor work. Reviewing shop drawings and various submittals to strategize the most effective phasing of work to be completed in all areas of a project. Working with Subcontractor Project Managers and Superintendents to coordinate daily site deliveries, permitting, occupancy, safety, and other field issues.
