Nov. 2022 - Feb. 2023Los Angeles, California, United StatesSometimes you’re a layoff casualty even when you’re a high-performing nerd with a great record even when the tech industry is hurting. I think I brought a new lens and made a respectable dent with goals I was tasked with. More importantly created a ripple effect to bring talent across the org to positively impact other human lives. Think Recruiting meets creative large-scale hiring events/conferences. I was very lucky to collaborate with bright minds. In a nutshell, I unfolded an unexpected beautiful life purpose I never fathomed thru Tesla. I led various inclusion recruiting projects from resume workflow, DEI events operations/strategy and built ties with community partnerships. I’m proud of the scope and scale I managed in efforts to make a difference in the lives of internal and external talent. In this role, I partnered with our recruitment and hiring leadership while expanding our external partnerships program strategy I laid the foundations for between 2020-2022. In the last few years, I enthusiastically connected several cross-functions, ERG leaders and recruitment partners to join in on the rewarding work of nurturing employee growth and creating community. This has been executed thru large-scale national conferences, internal Tesla-hosted events, workshops and various engagements thru our external partnerships. • Recruiting Pipeline Programs (Owned DEI focused external partnerships) • Engineering Bootcamps (Bring them to life) • Community Partnerships Program • Extensive collaboration with cross-functional partnerships and ERG's (Employee Resource Groups) • Successful increase in Executive sponsorship and ERG engagement for Women in Tesla, Black at Tesla, Latinos at Tesla, & LGBTQ at Tesla • My usual partnering orgs that help bring recruitment wonders to life: Engineering, People Operations, Advertising, Design, UX/UI, Events Management, Workplace Ops, Global Supply/Procurement and Legal
