KIA GhanaVehicle Assembly Engineer
Apr. 2022Amasaman, Greater Accra Region, GhanaAs a quality engineer, I am part of a collaborative environment where I work closely with colleagues from various departments. I also contribute to the quality assurance of assembled passenger and light commercial vehicles by applying the 7 basic tools of quality control, ensuring compliance with international quality standards, and ultimately exceeding client expectations while aligning with the company's vision. • Regularly audit processes and monitor the vehicle hotline to ensure assembly compliance. • Conduct torque audits using calibrated torque wrenches to ensure proper bolt tightness and prevent assembly failures. • Utilize a standardized test protocol encompassing diverse testing methodologies, including dynamic testing, light testing, wheel alignment and environmental testing, to meticulously evaluate the functionality of assembled vehicles. • Collaborate with the logistics department to perform thorough inspections of incoming kits, collecting detailed data for the purpose of report generation. • Conduct pre-delivery inspection of vehicles, which includes exterior and interior inspection, mechanical and electrical inspection and the final drive test.
