Oct. 2017 - Oct. 2022Toronto, Canada AreaIn the challenging and heavily regulated world of Pharma Advertising, I’ve been one of the Creative Leads on two major drug launches, Motegrity from Takeda and Nurtec ODT from Biohaven. My responsibilities in this position include: • Ideating, developing and guiding creative work with our teams. • Projects range from websites to social media campaigns to CRM and print, packaging and branding. • Working with internal stakeholders to ensure the strategic and business objectives of the client are met. • Presenting to and liaising with the client to ensure that they feel the creative work is meeting with their business objectives. • Nurturing the creative talents of the teams who report to me, and fostering an environment of cooperation and trust to ensure that they continue to develop in their careers. As a champion of the Employee Resource Group (ERG) called Klicksters of Color, I’m part of the team that helped develop a safe space for workers of Color at Klick to speak about issues of racial justice, both in society and at the company. The group was established prior to 2020, but took on a new meaning and interest as the company has reevaluated it’s system and culture to support divers talent and creative work. I am also a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council, which is comprised of C-Suite Executives and ERG Leaders. The role of the council is to discuss, develop and implement diverse hiring practices, address racial bias and organize informative sessions like our Guest Speaker Series.
