Log students in who enter library, check their passes/permission slips, monitor their efforts at quiet study, give access to classes, testing, and study/research sessions held in media centers. Inventory library books and other media, check books in and out to students, shelf and organize books under Dewey Decimal System. As a Reserve Building Substitute, for several consecutive weeks at e.g., Minneapolis South High, move quickly around the school building as directed by the Reserve Teacher Coordinator, obtaining and teaching lesson plans, to teach or co-teach diverse subjects for the absent regular teachers in any classroom where I am needed.

Taught a wide range of subjects from Spanish to Art to Algebra, seamlessly implementing lesson plans of sick and absent teachers. Gave back to another community that raised me and made what I am today. Gratitude and giving back, are my themes in this phase of my life.
