Booz Allen HamiltonSenior Consultant, Strategy & Organization
Jun. 2011 - Oct. 2015Washington D.C. Metro AreaAs a management analyst for Booz Allen Hamilton, I assist the Defense community in posturing itself to address emerging security concerns, mandated budget cuts, and requirements for modernization. I have leveraged industry standard project management principles to support clients with the following: 1. Business process reengineering (BPR) - I have co-lead and supported several major BPR efforts, successfully optimizing anywhere from 15-48 business and IT processes with each engagement. To support the BPR engagement, I have launched benchmarking studies, facilitated engagement workshops to build consensus among stakeholders, identified bottlenecks, documented current and re-engineered future state processes, and captured IT requirements as needed. 2. Facilitation - Independently developed strategic facilitation approaches to help get clients in the proper mindset to identify pain points, potential cost savings, and innovative solutions. Guided clients and internal Booz Allen teams to reach consensus during sessions, validate process flows, and write narrative documents to properly capture the processes. 3. Change management - Developed change management initiatives to help my clients better understand how to maximize participation and return on investment. Conducted research and built out surveys to capture feedback, interpret data, and form recommendations. 4. Performance management - Been charged with developing practical, actionable performance metrics and measures of effectiveness to help top-level clients define what success looks like for their teams in the future state environment. 5. Training - Partnered with several teams to develop living training documents that explain process flows to everyday users after the engagement is over. To compliment the training documents, I've assisted in the development and execution of webinars for 30-65 participants in a dispersed environment.
