Jan. 2012 - Mar. 2016Invergordon• To coordinate Health, Safety, Environment systems effectively within the company. • Inspect Company HSE systems to ensure compliance within the above to a level meeting current best practice and exceeding that of competitors. • Promote awareness and improvement in implementing HSE standards.
• Assure that employees are observing, following, and understanding company safety programs as well as ability to understand and follow guidelines. • Ensure compliance with existing legislation and effectively report non-compliance to management. Monitor future changes in legislation for impact on the company. • Coordinate with all CRC-Evans locations to ensure accident, environmental incidents and near misses are reported, investigated and effective action taken. • Prepare all of relevant documentation associated with audits and inspections. • Provides support in the development of safety meeting presentations and assists in conducting mandated safety training • Conduct field visits to ensure effective systems are maintained for the identification, assessment and control of all significant hazards. • Communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the company. • Plan, present and document weekly or monthly safety meetings as necessary. • Performs clerical and administrative duties including typing, proofreading and editing documents • Suggests process and procedure improvements to increase efficiency and improve communication of departmental and functional information. • Keeps abreast of latest trends and technology related to administrative functions. Indentifies and suggests ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the HSE department. • Handling confidential or sensitive information or issues. • Ensures accurate and timely communication to involved parties. • Other duties as assigned by HSEQ Manager
