During this time, I was invited by Kennesaw State University to give a guest lecture on Poverty in Education, while also completing Phase II of Cobb County’s Teacher Leader Academy.

This ranged from high-level curriculum implementation to coaching the staff in best teaching practice through model lessons. I worked closely with the Mathematics Department throughout the entire process, even going so far as to create a series of videos targeted at parents, walking them through each unit of study. Additionally, I provided consistent professional development to new and first-time teachers and established the school Math Club.
