Mar. 2004 - Jul. 2004Abu Dhabi, UAEMy first Administration job. The most challenging of all. Initially i was hired as a reception, however, during the course of time, i had the opportunity to handle the following:
1. Managing the filing system of Rigs, Oil Drilling Projects, Tender Documents, Company Associates 2. Managing the document registry of the company’s branches, CVs, etc., for area of responsibility, to ensure proper storage of all documents for future reference and retrieval.
3. Receiving verbal instructions and preparing necessary documentation, as directed by the Chairman and General Manager.
4. Managing quotations for courier, stationary, and tickets. 5. Providing variety of secretarial and administrative duties, such as typing letters, faxes, reports, memos
6. Managing incoming and outgoing calls, distributing incoming mail, maintaining manual and computerized files. 7. Managing travel tickets, hotel reservations and transportation, 8. Ensures proper replenishment of office stationery and other supplies. Accounting: Managing the expenditure records of Petty Cash, Cheque Issued, and Credit Card. Processing of all invoices for payment and controlling all shipping documents to submittal into consultant in Oman branch. By the end of the 5 month, i truly felt i had gained the experience of 1 year.
