Travis Forbes is a dual-degree student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing alongside an MBA in Marketing. With a 3.75 GPA and a track record of leadership and initiative, Travis has consistently applied his skills across academic, professional, and community spaces. As President of NJIT’s Veteran Students Organization, he led efforts that resulted in the renovation and dedication of a campus lounge for military-connected students and helped implement policies that improved support and visibility for this community. He has served as a Teaching Assistant in the Martin Tuchman School of Management, supporting more than 250 students per semester and contributing to course delivery and student engagement. Prior to that, Travis held a management role at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, where he oversaw daily operations, staff development, and client relations during a critical ownership transition. He also gained financial services experience as a brokerage intern with Jamaica Money Market Brokers Ltd., supporting operational workflows and client onboarding during a major merger. Skilled in Microsoft Office, SQL, and Adobe Creative Suite, and with coursework in data management, consumer behavior, and business research, Travis is passionate about using marketing, strategy, and data to design practical solutions that address real-world problems. He is especially interested in projects that blend social impact with business innovation
