Jun. 2021Hong Kong, Hong Kong SARBefore moving on to teach full-time at The Harbour School, I designed and delivered education programming through Center for Artists in the Making, a skill-based, learner-centered, interdisciplinary art-making education initiative. We developed a curriculum-integrated and after-school video-making course with Dalton School Hong Kong, a term-long performance making project with Canadian International School of Hong Kong, and an after-school theatre programme at Hong Kong Academy. We also offered pop-up intensives for young artists 7-20 years old, wherein participants co-created and exhibited multi-media sound and video works over the course of the week, and for which we collaborated with Grassroots Future, an NGO focused on building capacity in the refugee and asylum seeker community in Hong Kong. Believing in rotating-leadership and ever-widening inclusivity, in 2019 we passed the baton to four other artists who now serve as Editrix.
