May 2011 –March 2013 (Contract) Primat is the in house recruitment arm of AMEC. I work within the MAC team which is a new venture to the business, and I am currently focusing on three very large important EPC projects within the Middle East and CIS region that AMEC have been awarded long term agreements for. • The main responsibility of my role is to Source, screen and present qualified professionals for technical and non-technical job openings within the projects I am responsible for. This is generally achieved my networking, head hunting and global resourcing tools
• Overseeing the administration of all pre-employment checks (Visa’s, Education Certificates, CEng statuses and references
• Another part of my role is to manage the contract negotiations, mobilization, on-boarding, induction, Learning and Development of the new employees
• Coordinate Objective Setting, Performance Appraisals and People Review
• Conduct Career Talks and prepare Personal Development Plans
• Mastered the applicant tracking software (Kenexa Brass ring) , (ITRIS) candidate database system and internet job boards to source relevant candidates
• Agree terms and manage agency suppliers to make sure we are covering all angles to find the best talent within the market • Manage contractors time sheets and liaise with payroll to get processed • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, strong organisational and prioritising abilities, negotiation skills and good business judgement.
