Jun. 2018Stoney Creek, Ontario, CanadaThe idea for Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Productions started back in april of 2011.Originally for a tv broadcast to feature undiscovered bands plus a recording facility.I had aquired some equipment to start a recording studio so i got that part of it going.With the tv thing ,it got to the point of me auditioning bands and selecting them to appear on the show and getting the camera crew and studio sorted.Things ground to a halt when my mother had a stroke.All focus was on her from then on .The whole concept was dropped for the time being.My mother was in hospital and then eventually moved to a nursing home where she died a year later.So i never thought about doing a tv show since then .I did make an album to work thru my grief .Never thought about it again till recently when i had the idea to do the show as a podcast instead .So now Ultimate Vibe is a recording studio doing recording projects and a podcast show .

Jun. 2018Stoney Creek, Ontario, CanadaSerious Nubian is an inhouse studio moniker created by Musician,Composer,Marcus Davis.He uses the Bass/Synths/Drum Programing/Vocodor as a means of communication ,expression,& creativity and pulling from genres like Jazz,Funk,R&B,Blues to redefine the groove.Prime influences are 70,s R&B,Funk,Jazz/Rock/Fusion.Bands like Return To Forever,The Commodores,Kool & the Gang,Mandre,Chuck Brown & the Soul Searchers,Parliament Funkadelic,EWF,Musicians like Stanley Clarke,George Duke,Herbie Hancock,Anthony Jackson,Lenny White,Randy Jackson, The concept of Serious Nubian was created back in 1994 with a cassette called Confrontations,an album which was totally recorded via midi and then coming out with a second album in 1999 in the uk an album called Funky Lix which featured Bass soloing as well as synths and Drum Programming plus Soprano Sax by Robert Taylor.Marcus has gigged both in the UK ,States and Canada .Currently produces a Podcast called Ultimate Vibe Audio Music Productions as well as composing and producing new music.
