Dec. 2022 - Sep. 2024Providing senior delivery and project leadership within the business, providing overall delivery assurance in a multi-agency and discipline environment, with multi-million pound budgets, to deliver GDS baselined work within major DNS and data transition programmes: •Lead, coach and develop teams to deliver team and personal objectives safely and securely to meet programme plans •Financial forecasting and business case ownership – working within the constraints of time, cost and quality and SOP management •Leading on strategic data and digital transformation projects with a focus on scientific and technical, data-driven excellence •Working to agile methodologies to provide the oversight and assurance of multi-million pound project portfolios, and risk management •Working to unite architectural, design, data and delivery colleagues as well as SMEs in a stakeholder pool •Leading on GDS base-lined projects, with DNS migrations and major database infrastructure implementation. •Leading the successful implementation of all project frameworks to drive consistency and effective programme delivery eg Status Reporting, Project Plans, RAID, PDD and Project Briefs •Consulting on longer term strategic planning, as well as transformation and forward planning to ensure food security & agricultural standards are maintained •Presenting at various senior government boards on behalf of the department •Driving the pace of delivery across projects and programmes, responsible for owning key blockers till they are resolved and guiding other members of the delivery community to help them deliver effectively.
