Successfully ascended while guiding objectives such as the Grand Teton and multiple Seven Summits (the highest peak on each continent.) Technical skills taught: Wilderness First Aid, Search and Rescue, companion rescue, mountaineering, rock climbing, ice climbing, backcountry skiing, avalanche awareness, canyoneering, backpacking, navigation, bear coexistence, wilderness living and travel skills such as campcraft, orienteering, self-care in extreme environments, backcountry cooking, packing techniques, bear awareness and emergency survival. Additional skills taught: leadership; conflict resolution; communication; goal making; group dynamics; learning styles; gender leadership; natural history; Leave No Trace. Instructed hundreds of students, clients and colleagues ranging in ages from kindergarten to 85 plus.
