I am Ana Campos, a passionate and dedicated microbiologist with extensive medical microbiology and molecular biology expertise. With a Ph.D. earned through a collaborative program between the University of Groningen and the State University of Rio de Janeiro, my research has focused on the molecular characterization of Escherichia coli and its resistance mechanisms, contributing valuable insights into clinical microbiology. As a Research Analyst at Amsterdam UMC, I bring my microbiology, molecular biology, and data analysis skills to train Ph.D. students, design and execute experiments, and co-author impactful research publications.
