Sep. 2004 - Nov. 2005As a Subject Matter Expert, I supervised and walked the call center to assist with difficult applicants, answer any challenging problems and questions for HSS, monitor call center status board and network, and report to Head Lead and/or Supervisor for daily and weekly updates on call center. As an HSS, I conducted scripted telephone interviews with applicants, enter information and register applicants for disaster assistance into NEMIS database, refer applicants to appropriate disaster assistance programs, community resources, and/or other Federal, State, and local agencies, and provide base information and explanation of Housing Assistance and Other Needs Assistance programs.
