I have been faculty in higher education since 2004. I began my employment at LSU in 2007, earned tenure in 2013, and in July of 2025 was promoted to full professor. I speak and read French (near-native fluency), Italian (intermediate level), Spanish (low intermediate level), as well as smatterings of Arabic, Greek, and Hebrew. I have 30 years of experience in translation (English-French and French-English; Italian-English; Spanish-English), and have also worked as a proofreader and editor for both short and lengthy projects.
