• Write recommendations for student scholarships
• Tour students around campus to encourage library, student center and other resources and technologies
• Encourage students to attend leadership training, events, and use the student success center and office with an average of 20 percent students per class using the center • Arrange guest speakers in class and with the common read committee to increase student awareness about local work with social justice, arts and humanities
• Collaboration with Penn Valley library tour and instruction on evaluating sources Professional Advancement
• Attended SoTL 2017 conference March 2017 as part of Title III Grant
• Participate in Title III training, Humanities Core Group Meetings for Title III training for synthesis of materials across disciplines in Humanities as well as Common Read committee
