Nov. 2023InternationalSupporting the creation of the newly established Sustainable Development Fund that aims to protect 10 million hectares of amazon rainforest alongside other key biodiversity regions in Ecuador. This is done in collaboration with local/indigenous communities and a number of key organisations working in the space including Pachamama Alliance and Kapawi Lodge. My role also includes project managing a number of cultural and historical projects connected to the heritage of the various tribes we are working with and their wisdom on our relationship to nature. I have a special interest in how immersive experiences and film can expand our knowledge and connection to these topics and will be working with a number of creative studios on this.

By exploring peoples’ emotional connection to urban place through crowd-generated mapping and temporary art and architecture installations, Open Close aims to promote and encourage greater engagement with the public spaces around us. The Open Close Project was conceived as a way of demonstrating how our smaller urban spaces can become containers for more joy, wellbeing, stimulation and play and the role that contemporary art and architecture can play in this transformation.
