Jan. 2017Missouri City, Texas, United States• Perform General Bookkeeping duties for a variety of small and large businesses. Duties include, but not limited to:
o Accurately reconcile checking and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
o Maintain accurate and complete sales records to prepare quarterly sales tax payments.
o Post payroll payments in QuickBooks with information from the ADP Run system.
o Maintain Vendor integrity, 1099 information and filing.
o Processing, coding, and auditing of Trade/Consultant invoices and expense reports in compliance with company policies and deadlines.
o Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices, as well as vendor inquiries.
o Issue 1099s and Non-Profit donation letters for all applicable clients.
o Produce and review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis on a monthly basis.
o Work with accountant to communicate financial reporting for year-end tax needs.
o Provide initial clean-up for clients QuickBooks file, producing accurate financial statements that comply with GAAP and tax requirements.
o Identify workflow issues and implement procedures to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
