In my current role as an Operational Support Centre operator as well as in my previous positions as Paramedic and Detection Specialist, I have developed strong communication and leadership skills while working under pressure in a fast-paced environments. I understand the importance of detailed and accurate reports, effective communication in both official languages and professionalism in dealing with clients and colleagues. I believe in being accountable and respectful to my peers and myself in all aspects of my duties. I have been relied upon daily by my colleagues and superiors to professionally represent the organizations I have worked for. I make sound judgement in decision making. I am a team player and enjoy being a leader amongst my peers, always ready to help and support others. I have been a team lead in my current role as operator when needed and have aided in training new OSC personnel. I am an active listener, capable of giving and receiving feedback. I am a problem solver, looking for and making recommendations to better the efficiency of the team and department.
