Collaborate with the Event Services team to secure appropriate venues for those events. Develop a yearly plan for publicizing department concerts and events. Design and coordinate the production and distribution of all music concert, recitals, and special event promotional materials for both on-campus and off-campus patrons; including, but not limited to, printed programs, posters, mailers, email, and social media items. Maintain the music events mailing and email lists. Assists in maintaining the annual music department budget. Produce the annual Calvin Fall Music Festival, and other large-scale music events as needed. Oversee the design and maintenance of the music website, making regular updates (events calendar, faculty and staff biography information, department information, etc.). Oversee the development of social media content, its distribution, and upkeep for all music department accounts. Produce other promotional materials for the music program as needed, including, but not limited to, recruitment packets, scholarship brochure, program covers, recordings, posters, mailings, etc. Provide organizational and promotional support for special events such as choral or instrumental festivals. Collaborate with admissions on prospective student events and outreach opportunities to develop and grow music students. Coordinate with the Calvin University admissions team to assist with music student recruitment initiatives. Serve as coordinator for the production and promotion of musical recordings produced by the music department. Position is a member of a larger arts support team. Support and coordinate with other arts administration team across all VPA functions and events.
