As an intern assistant to the Commercial Department agents, my responsibilities consisted of Filing, Heavy Phone Calls, managing client schedules and book out information, project and contact management. Maintaining relationships is an absolute must. In commercial talent representation, it is mandatory to maintain relationships with: the other departments in the office as many clients are cross represented between commercial and theatrical, the casting directors as they are the ones that are hiring our clients, and most importantly, our clients. Our clients are our product; it is our job to sell our clients to the many casting directors that provide work in the industry. Maintaining these relationships is my job as an intern assistant. As one of my special projects, on top of my everyday responsibilities, I was put in charge of creating a list of clients and their birthdays to help the agents maintain our loyalty and appreciation of our clients. With over 150 clients, I created an annual based calendar of every client and their birthday in a way that the agents can glance at the list and easily locate the current date and the clients whom which share their birthday with that date. I was, lastly, my job to maintain confidentiality of projects in the works and client identity.
