Jan. 2003 - Dec. 201715 year Veteran of the U.S. Army, with vast experience in upper-level management concepts and practices. First enlisted Field Artillery female in Illinois National Guard history. Integral asset in the integration of senior female leaders into the Illinois combat arms programs. Part of the management team that wrote the Standard Operating Procedures and Practices for the new Knowledge Management department being stood up in the organization. A successful record for managing subordinates and other staff members, supervising dozens of people through weeks of training exercises, and responsible for millions of dollars in assets. Specific duties and achievements include:
· Led two different sections of staff members (varying from 10-24 personnel) over a six year period.
· Managed testing of 4 high-tech, multimillion dollar products that, in less than 12 months, went from conception to production.
· As Vice President of the Knowledge Management department for a 1200 personnel organization, automated major collaboration systems, increasing the effective resource utilization rate from 10% to 95% in less than 9 months.
· Participated in the complete revitalization and overhaul of the U.S. Military Information Systems, which led to a total system upgrade Army wide. Managed and automated in the Information Management Department on over $1 million worth of equipment.
· AND a point to not be forgotten, was on the “winning” team for the donkey’s ass trophy for coming in dead last at Red Leg 2/122, 33 ID Field Artillery Golf tournament in 2017
