Mar. 2022New York, New York, United StatesKickstarted coming May 31st at 1pm ET Patent-Pending, Utility and Design At Sole Cookware, we're revolutionizing the culinary world with our award-winning Cardinal Knife – a groundbreaking innovation that addresses the longstanding issues faced by countless home cooks and professional chefs alike, knives are not one-size fits all. Through comprehensive research and a user-centric design approach, we've identified a critical gap in the market for knives tailored to petite hands, a segment often overlooked by traditional knife manufacturers. Our Cardinal Knife design is deliberately crafted to provide an unparalleled comfortable and customizable experience, empowering users to elevate their culinary skills and enjoy the art of cooking like never before. IDEA The Sole Cookware Cardinal Knife effectively addresses these pain points by offering a fully customizable solution designed to cater to diverse user profiles. Our ergonomic design promotes proper technique, reduces fatigue, and enhances safety, allowing users to focus on their culinary creations with confidence and ease. With detachable components and a convenient blade sharpening service, we ensure optimal storage, hygiene, and longevity, making the Cardinal Knife an indispensable tool in any kitchen. Pain Points We Solve Conventional one-size-fits-all knife designs fail to accommodate the diverse physiological differences between individuals, leading to discomfort and suboptimal performance. Many users struggle to execute the proper pinch grip technique, resulting in hand fatigue, potential injuries, and reduced efficiency in the kitchen. Improper technique can lead to frustration, diminished enjoyment, and even long-term strain on the hands and wrists. Storage and maintenance are often neglected aspects of kitchen knife ownership, compromising safety and product longevity. Dull blades pose a significant risk of accidental cuts, undermining the confidence and safety of home cooks and professionals alike.

CookedbyLOCEO, Founder
Mar. 2020 - Apr. 2023New York, New York, United StatesCookedbyLO is a company that provides recipes and private cooking lessons with a focus on how to stay present and accomplished through cooking. My inspiration for starting CookedbyLO came from the want to share my food journey; not only the food that I create but what steps I am taking to create my business. I have always had the urge to be an entrepreneur, after graduating from college with a degree in Gender Studies and Moral Philosophy I started working for a large company and realized that wasn't right for me. I wanted to take my life into my own hands and went to Culinary School. Now I am creating this space to share with all of you. I want CookedbyLO to be a sanctuary, for those who love to cook, hate to cook, have to cook, and want to learn to cook. This is a space to read and look at pretty images that (I hope) inspire you to get into the kitchen and get creative. Cooking has been the most amazing outlet for me, as someone with chronic anxiety and other mental health troubles in the past. I have always come to the kitchen to get out of my head and to focus on one thing, creating a delicious meal to show my love. I want to help as many people as I can create that special bond I have in the kitchen.
