The quality of the employee is only as good as the quality of the product. Routine checks are performed on the products served so that the customer receive the same quality of coffee, every time. Coffee is a true science. Everything from water to weather can affect the experience on a daily basis. With that, I've incorporated training and techniques to better equip the barista's with the knowledge to maintain the same level of quality. Part of my tasks include communicating with our roaster on the weekly needs for our shop. From tweaks to coffee profiles to the projected inventory needed each week, system such as excel spread sheets and sales tracking ensures the process runs smooth.
