Feb. 2023Ann Arbor, Michigan, United StatesWork collaboratively with stakeholders across three campuses to lead the deployment of the University's first enterprise digital asset management platform, U-M Digital Asset Collaborative (DAC) .
-Responsible for creating metadata template and taxonomy for photo, graphics, video, and audio assets.
-Partner with Office of General Counsel to establish appropriate copyright, usage, and right management policies.
-Create informative web content and training modules for educating users from disparate backgrounds.
-Work closely with API developers, technical team, and vendor to configure and shape DAC architecture and content.
-Establish and guide a university-wide community of practice with monthly meetings, and manage a Slack channel for cultivating conversations around digital asset management best practices.
-Keep up-to-date on industry trends, including AI, by researching, attending workshops, and conferences.
-Participate in various working groups to guide the university's decisions around video production, storage, and retention.
-Conduct user surveys to guide decisions around data, integrations, and training.
-Meet regularly with business support analysts and DAC users to provide excellent customer service experience.
-Collaborate with DAM vendor - Acquia (formerly Widen) - to improve product to better meet the needs of users.
