As the Product Developer I work in the R&D/ Innovation department producing baked goods and fried donut samples to fill customer requests across all locations, scaling, mixing, and baking new and existing products for product evaluations and continuous improvement. I took ownership of the sample request and production process, creating a standardized, organized, and efficient protocol. I assist with creating new products and formulas that meet or exceed customer standards for quality, experience, and cost. Work with SAP ERP to record and categorize all necessary BOMs. I created and implemented a standardized documentation for our development process and formulas. I assist with plant trials based on commercialized product specifications, improve product formulations - taste/flavor matches, texture profiles, and potential cost reductions, and investigate and recommend new ingredients, keeping current with consumer trends and nutritional regulations.
