Most recently I have worked as a day relief teacher at Rangiora New Life School as well as Kaiapoi High School, teaching across various subjects. These included Maths, Sciences, and Digital Technology. Whilst my experience as a Tutor at ARA and Christchurch College of Education was some time ago, I am confident that the combination of all my hands-on experience and teaching qualifications make me highly effective in delivering personalised sessions, whether face-to-face or online. I love to see people flourish as a result of the support I provide and am sure I would do an excellent job teaching the students. Alongside my teaching credentials, I have excellent proficiency in various programming languages and software tools, including Xero and MS Office. These have been developed through years of managing my own part time business as well as from what I learnt completing my MHIT. Regarding strong verbal and written communication skills I am confident I can meet this well. I know from many years of experience that empathy and adaptability are essential in the quest to connect with people from varied backgrounds and teach and present material in ways that match their learning styles and abilities. I pride myself on being an excellent communicator, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible way. I believe my experience as a Google Reviewer has helped refine my skills in providing constructive feedback and engaging with diverse audiences, which I believe is crucial in a tutoring setting.
