My first role was as a Sales Executive with the Corporate Sales Team, a new group designed to build new business across all of the company's divisions and across vetted partners service delivery. This aligned with the company's strategic objective of transferring the operation from a 4 division government funding dependent one to a more commercial high quality service concern. Using well developed strategic sales techniques I exceeded my sales target of 1.1 million, bringing in sales for the FY 2014/15 of 1.4 million. These sales were secured mainly with major corporates (500+ staff) and large corporates (250+ staff). Solutions built ranged from bespoke training and professional development packages, across national recruitment and trainee management programs, to cultural change processes to eLearning and consulting. At the 6 month mark I managed my sales role as well as moving into the General Manager's role for our division as the incumbent moved on. Maintained own performance as well as managing and leading the national sales team through a difficult time due to a company wide strategic rethink. Liaised with CEO and Head of People & Culture as well as other divisional GM's to implement strategic changes whilst working closely with the sales team to insure their wellbeing and motiviation as well as helping them plan their career moves if needed. Under stress, we managed to achieve close to 90% of the sales forecast for the team, with two representatives hitting 100% of their budget.
