small business skills and my title changed to Special Projects Manager. Carrying
on from my experience at Payce International I focused my attention on many
different areas of the business; Marketing, Human Resources and Recruiting,
Administration, Stock Control, Buying and IT. Again I worked alongside the Director and helped to implement change within the business. Highlights from my time at Bstore include developing the structure of the first written policies, procedures and product knowledge manuals. Leading up to the Christmas period I
coordinated the running of three casual leasing stalls all placed in major shopping
centers. This included; designing of the stalls, coordinating all IT and reporting,
recruitment of over 25 casual staff members, selection and ordering of stock, all
operations of running the stands. Another aspect to this role was running the company website which included;
managing the Google ad words campaign, update inventories, training staff on
handling customer enquiries, processing orders, briefing the development company
on changes and handling all issues relating to the site. The Website is the fastest
growing revenue stream of the business. Bstore was an excellent environment to
further advance my business development skills.
