Aug. 2007 - Mar. 2012MWEB House, Greenacres Office Park, Victory Park, JHBManaged divisional budget: • Create and motivate (to senior Management) annual budget for Infrastructure & Operations – JHB division, manage monthly spend (OPEX/CAPEX), report on variance against budget • Manage all CAPEX motivation & technical description for technology purchases for MWEB Business & division Incident/Problem management: • Incident logging, incident tracking, incident recommendations (tracking of recommendations and implementation of recommendations • Reporting on incidences, outages for division to senior MWEB Management team, creating Incident Management Reports Change management: • Change approval, run the change acceptance board meeting for MWEB Business impacting changes, discussing changes with Business units & external customers • Identify risk, implement testing pack and checklist for the sign-offs Human resource management: • Leave approval and scheduling • Created and implemented Workplace Skills Program, performance management (creating of KPA’s, evaluating KPA progress, etc…) • Managed disciplinary processes for the division, chairperson for inter disciplinary hearings, implement and manage Performance Improvement Programs • Recruitment of new staff; short listing & interviewing candidates, assisting in job specifications & pay grades Reporting on division: • Bi-monthly reporting back to senior MWEB Management • Weekly feedback/reporting to MWEB Technology CTO Vendor and supplier relationships: • Identifying new vendors and suppliers • Defining SLA agreements, service requirement, maintenance contracts Operational services: • Service costing models, architectural design of services, customer relationships • Project managements, priority classification of projects, assignment of divisional costs and resources, feedback to senior management on project progress
