May. 2008 - Dec. 2013• Responsible for the overall strategic initiatives of the Advertising, Graphics and Pre-Media Departments and the creative execution of promotions to support these intiatives throughtout the year.
• Annually define and implement a multi-channel integration strategy for all Do it Best Corp. retail marketing and advertising programs. This includes all aspects including the consumer-view, the vendor partnership and the member- benefits. • Oversee all aspects of the ADpak advertising program including planning, budgeting, forecasting, implementation, oversight of the vendor event and all other related strategic initiatives involving the ADpak advertising program. • Manage the overall branding strategy for Do it Best Corp. exclusive brands. • Monitor and analyze competitive activities within the hardware, lumber and building material industry including programs, promotions and new initiatives and report opportunities and threats to the executive management team. • Collaborate with our Retail Sales and Development management team in the development and execution of a strategic prospective-member campaign. • Work closely with key member-owners of Do it Best Corp. to ensure long-term marketing relationships and the alignment of mutual goals and objectives, including branding workshops and communication plans which allows each to be true and unique in their own market. • Collaborate with other Marketing division managers to identify and exploit opportunities to improve the Marketing Division, Do it Best Corp. and our member-owners. • Collaborate with the Merchandising Dept to bring the right product or promotion at the right time so our members can be competitive in the marketplace.
