Aug. 2023Salt Lake City, Utah, United StatesFOCIS works to scholarship the We Are Friends educational program into schools for use by all children in grades K-3, and in particular with neurodivergent students. We believe in the ability of all students to reach their highest potential. In partnership with the Miller Family Foundation and the Utah State Legislature, we have raised nearly $2 million, providing scholarships to hundreds of schools and thousands of children. We look to expand the program to additional schools, and through all of K-6 and beyond. And in collaboration with researchers from the University of Utah and Brigham Young University, we have demonstrated amazing results in the children using the program--in both the neurotypical and neurodivergent students. Those results have been published in highly respected, peer-reviewed education journals. Visit teachingitright.com to learn more.
