Working as a large, but close knit squad we are building a global solution for the declaration of motor insurance claims and their digital processing. Having started as a squad of 2 developers and 1 BA. My personal contributions to the squad include the onboarding and mentorship of 5 new front and BFF (Back and for Front) developers, animation of regular developer meetings and refinements, being the technical point of contact between the product / BA team and technical members. Key technologies include java 11, spring boot, netflix feign, JUnit5, Angular 10, jest. Outside of the squad I am an Allianz craft ambassador where I have played a key role in building our craft community where we host weekly brown bag lunches and coding DOJOs with participation of around 40 developers each week on average. I also on the organising comitee for our internal community conferences which take place 3 times per year bringing together our craft, design, test and devops communities for a half day of talks and exchanges. I was part of the winning Allianz team of the Sustainable Digitial Challenge 2021 organised by API days.
