Apr. 2015 - Jul. 2018Cape Town••Stakeholder Engagements, Northern Cape and Western Cape •Facilitation of Workshops: Capacity Building, Workplace Skills Plan, New Training provider support, Induction and monitoring and evaluation Presentations.
•Monitor, Evaluate and Verify Training providers and TVET Colleges before and after project implementation. -Verifier in terms of qualifications and the quality of training being offered by Providers
•Project management of various projects: Internships, Bursaries, Lecturer workplace Experience. •Assist Service Providers become accredited to conduct accredited learning Programmes
•Ensure the correct and fair disbursement of government funds. •Conducting site visits, validation and any other function within the accreditation value chain
•Supporting stakeholders through capacity building initiatives
•Co-ordinating, monitoring and reporting on HWSETA skills development programmes in the province
•Attend Provincial Training Committee Meetings •Member of the SETA Cluster Forum Western Cape and Northern Cape- Ensure Training is implemented •Key engagements with TVET Colleges to ensure learners are placed and receive the required experience. Ensuring engagements with all stakeholders and building sustainable relationships
Ensure the quality of Training by Skills Development Providers
Conduct interviews with learners to ensure quality training Assist stakeholders develop systems, strategies, policies and procedures to start a training company Assist stakeholders in drafting a Workplace Skills Plan, that ensures that they have access to funding for staff Assist stakeholders in drafting Funding Proposals to access Funds. Monitoring and Evaluation of Training implementation and Quality Management Systems implementation Advocacy and mobilisation to move stakeholders towards applying for accreditation
